How to prevent Lower Back Pain
There are certain conditions when it comes to your back that
you cannot prevent but in most cases you can. Follow these
methods to help prevent lower back pain. The first things
anyone will tell you is to exercise or move around on a regular
basis. Check with your doctor before starting any type of
exercise program. You can start your own program or join the
local gym and ask them for help.
If you have a job where you sit all day then it is a good
idea to move around during the day. Sitting for eight to ten
hours a day is no good for your back. Some people like to group
their office activities where they get more done by not back
tracking but if you are prone to lower back pain or you just
want to get a bit more exercise then spread out your
activities.
Another great way to prevent back pain is try walking to get
lunch instead of driving but sometimes that is not possible so
what you can do is to park as far away from the door as you
can. The same goes for when you are at the supermarket, try to
get in as much physical activity during the day as you can.
A good part of the country has jobs were at one point during
the day you may have to bend to pick something up and pulling
out your back is one of the most common causes of lower back
pain. To avoid this try using these methods , get as close to
the item as possible, bend with your knees and keep your back
straight as you lift. The straighten your knees when you are
lifting the object up.
Do not twist as you hold a heavy item. If you need to put
the item down, then you bend at the knees and lower the item
but do not bend your back. There are many ways to prevent lower
